Hey! ⎮ Some good food for your ears ⎮ It’s been a while ;)

Sexy pic huh? :) ⎮ It’s the cover of Letters from a Stoic, by Seneca ⎮ When my sister came to visit me from France I asked her to bring me a couple books in French ⎮ I opened this one months after, and it turned out to be one of the best readings I’ve made in my life ⎮ It’s a very well written (at least in French, I hope it is too in english) philosophy book on virtuous living, upright ideals, etc. all this according to the Stoicism movement, which in my opinion was way ahead of its time (to put it simple, it was at the time of Gladiator movie). Anyway, it’s very short ⎮ I recommend it as part of the in-house library, not just a book you rent, read, give back, and forget half of ⎮ I’m excited for the future readers!

Re:Generation music project, or the coolest shit I haven’t seen in a while ⎮ This documentary is about 5 world class DJ’s, each assigned the task to create a piece based a traditional musical genre that is not their own ⎮ It’s very inspiring, not only for the musical blends, but also, as the title suggests, for the generation blends, for the process of creating music, for the challenge, for the suspense, for the human traits and personalities… for plenty of things actually! ⎮ I’m sorry this is on Hulu.com so not everybody can see it, but if you can, go for it! Once again I repeat myself: TED Talks are the shit! ⎮ This one is delivered by Dan Pink, former Steve Job’s speech-writer ⎮ He introduces us to a whole new way to look at the “motivation at work” matter ⎮ As always it is very inspiring and educational ⎮ I’ll make sure to keep this one in mind.

So Juste Debout finals was taking place this past Sunday in Paris ⎮ 16,000 attendees ⎮ Hip-Hop, House, Poppin’, Lockin’… ⎮ For the first time the organizer himself participated [in the poppin’ category], and this is what happens when monsters meet monsters… ⎮ I gotta admit Paris dancers are the ones that have me keep on practicing :p ⎮ Enjoy, cuz this shit is craaaaaaaazy!!!
